Michael Fitzgerald (President)

Biography

As founder and visionary of Michael L. Fitzgerald Insurance Services, Inc., Michael’s focus is to develop long-term relationships with life insurance agents, financial planners, wealth managers, property casualty agents and the advisory community. In addition, he works closely with local fee-based planners to provide sophisticated, unbiased solutions.

Over the past years Michael’s experience includes joint casework in the closely held business market and financial services operations in both the broker dealer and property casualty environment. Michael actively works with clients of his advisors, helping them identify and implement estate planning structures that reduce tax exposure and allow legacy planning, succession planning and effective business continuity.

Michael is a former board member of the Bay Area Chapter of Financial Services Professionals and a past member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU). He completed his graduate work at Santa Clara University.

Michael started his agency in 1993 and has been in the Walnut Creek location for 26 years. He currently resides in Alamo with his wife and has two adult children working in San Francisco.
